JDRF Walk raises over $350,000

The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation "2010 Walk to Cure Diabetes" was held at Shelby Farms on Saturday, Oct. 2nd. The event raised over $350,000 and gave everybody a chance to get off the couch. Business Visuals photographed the event for the second year in a row.

Greenline

The Greenline trail is ready for hiking & biking. Local government hit a home run with this one. I don't know where official parking is, but I park at Southwest TN Community College on Macon Cove.

Bike Night at The Sidecar Cafe

                                      

"Pass the Pepper Jack" plays The Sidecar Cafe in Bartlett, TN. When the bikes start up you don't even have to play well. The band consists of Philip McKelvy, Pat Ryan, Tony Brasfield and Don Cook.

Flying High with Business Visuals

Pat Ryan had another aerial photo job today. Here he is in front of the Cessna. He took off from downtown Memphis from the General DeWitt Spain Airport. The wind was calm; the humidity was average for an August day. Pat photographed a large apartment complex with its surrounding landmarks. The clouds looked like cotton balls.

Here's a photo of the landing. Pat used a 1/2000th shutter speed which freezes the propeller.

At one of the better looking stadiums in America, the new tailgate spaces are coming along at the Liberty Bowl. A dramatic transformation of the former fairgrounds is underway including turning Libertyland into  meadows; keeping the mature trees.
